A little while ago, my parents' cat Bridget went missing. As the weeks dragged on, they became extremely worried. My dad devised a way to distract himself: he began to paint Bridget's adventures, imagining her travelling through time and popping up in some of art and music's most iconic scenes.

The humor in Kim's Convenience reminds me so much the one I saw in El Chavo del Ocho: Sanitized, based in shenanigans and confusion. Not bad, but not a breakthrough.

For some reason Kim's Convenience reminds me a lot of Bob's Burgers. They even have a gyms neighbor episode.

I don’t get how there are countries using full stops (periods) to separate integers and commas for fractions. I mean even when writing, we use commas to separate ideas inside a same paragraph; why not use the same for numbers?

My millennial self, many years ago, came up with a Fukuyamian hypothesis that future generations wouldn’t be all that different from us. Oh, how wrong I was.

One of the lessons I’ve learned over the years is that you have to keep running just to stay in the same place. If you want to move forward, you need to run twice as fast!

I started watching The Big Bang Theory again. I mean, I watched it when it first aired almost 20 years ago, but it has a certain peaceful charm that makes it a great comfort series.
