the early access gang cleared like 80% of the game before today so it's basically all out there </3 watch out

there were several moments in the prologue alone where i doubted his sanity but then he developed the haru shaped tulpa. and that was the *least* of all the deranged things he would proceed to get up to after accepting soccer back into his heart.

i think he needs to pay a visit to several places considering all that's wrong with him (he's awesome)

anyways i'm staring at the ch 8 preview which promises a cutscene between unmei and soramiya with very wide, fearful eyes. this train is going somewhere and i am terrified.

and i would be remiss to point out the soramiya scene during the haru + unmei date. what the hell was that. why did he make that pained face. who is it directed at. haru? unmei? BOTH? unmei is his "eternal rival" while haru is the beast of talent he wants to defeat. we don't know and it scares me.

and his lines during the eastwind international match too. the way he very obviously looked down on nagumohara when they (sakurazaki really) tried to leverage *their* relationship with unmei over him. the look on his face when he gets tackled. the way he flat out says he's up for *crushing* eastwind

he didn't have a lot of focus in ch 7 (it was finally kisoji time) but i'm still thinking about his conversation with unmei in the udon shop. his views on soccer's notions of teamwork + unity essentially being platitudes. the way he described haru as a beast yet muttered about wanting to beat him

6 chapters in. it got even better? give hino his flowers for this because my god.
