Not one. Not two, but over 10,000 Taiwanese families where one parent originally Chinese are about to be torn apart for the most asinine reason.
“Chinese spouses” need to prove they’ve relinquished their Chinese household registrations. In many cases they did this decades ago, lost the paperwork.

The year was 1986. Taiwan’s economy was booming and when the first made-in-Taiwan car, the Yulon came out, ppl were ecstatic! Unf, it wasn’t a great car. Ok…seems like the move to do some tariffs to give the Local Champion a chance to catch up.
