I think it’s time to have a tough conversation. Data privacy for non-IT people (like me!)
Make sure to disable automatic cloud backups (iCloud, Adobe, w/e the Microsoft cloud is, etc) and if you can, start using a USB external drive for all your devices.
Run a VPN as much as possible.

Modern tech is *infuriating*
If I didn't rely so heavily on GPS and my public transit app, I'd want to go back to an internet-less cell phone and save my internet time for when I'm home on my desktop/laptop.
