#Hypnovember Day 3: Magic.
As with the last prompt, the full story's in the alt-texts ~
"I need you to focus on these cards, the cards in front of you, yes?" You nod, a task easy enough, a king of diamonds, an ace of spades and the queen of hearts, kind of on the nose, but hey, who cared. about details like this, right? "Pick one of them and memorize it, focus on it, this card has to be the only thing on your mind, nothing else!" Your eyes focus on the card you want to pick. You imagine it, you visualize it so much, it tarts to feel like it was burnt into your mind. "Don't let it out of your sight now and don't tell me which of the three cards you picked, alright?" Your friend slowly begins to move his hands, cards begin to shift, bounce and dance, you stay focused, you keep that card on your mind, as it starts to move and inch away to the left, then to the right. "Keep your eyes on the card, don't let me know which one, just keep your eyes on the cards." You follow the order, trying hard not to directly stare at your card, even though it is cemented into your mind, you want to see this dork fail his card trick after all! While imagining your card you watch, you watch other cards move up, you watch skillful hands reach and then riffle, shuffle, spin some cards, motions begin to blur, you focus on the card, every now and then it appears, your eyes snap to it, as it dances across your friends' skillful hands and then it vanishes again. Appears, vanishes, a glimpse, a flash, while your friends raffles and mixes, splits and swirls cards, performing more wild and outlandish tricks. You are focused. "Now watch [...] all other [....] disappear [...] deck", you hear them say, watch as what disappears? You can't look up, you can't find it in you to ask, you only see the flashes of your card within his hand's motions, you only see the card appear, while others start to blank. Blank cards. Everything else fades, every other card slowly loses face, you feel lightheaded, the flashes of color betwixt the white now rapid and growing into a blur. You focus on the blank. No, that's not right. You focus on your... on your card. "focus on [...] disappear[...]", you hear them mumble in the distance, while they shuffle, riffle, show off the cards, fan them out and more of them are blank, more of them vanish, you don't mind, as long as your ~~blank~~ card is still there. You stare intently, you watch them fan the card open, you watch them fold 'em back together and shuffle, you do the best you can to follow along and listen to the instructions. "Focus" "disappear" "focus" "your mind" "focus" "disappears" Focus on the cards. Focus on them disappear. Cement it in your mind. The cards disappear. The mind disappears. "And noooow... is THIS your card? Buddy? Buddy you're... drooling..."

You trained to have your mind this primed, you and them you spent hours doing this, waking, falling, falling deeper, then waking again, only to fall once more. You shiver at the thought of it, at the memory, they see and they smile. "Thinking about yesterday's session, gorgeous?" Fire in your cheeks, words, stuck in your throat. "Want me to say the word?" Oh please, you think, please do it. "Want me to show you how easy it is to make you still and tranquil?" The fine hair in your neck begins to raise pleasantly. "Want me to say the word that makes you become all helpless and putty between my fingers?" A squirm, anticipation. "Well, pretty, **imagine** how you'd feel!" You do, you imagine the soft blow to your mind, the sudden blank, the struggle to think straight, the weight in your body. "Feeling **heavy** already?" Sluggish, feeling oh so sluggish. "Maybe, if you behave... I might say the word..." Yes... yes... yes...? "**Dro-**"

MMOs have evolved in a direction I honestly don't agree with if these things are written in former pure-healer guides.

My mans. They are healers, how is "poor dps" a criterium? 😭
Guide from icy-veins listing the Holy-Priest's weaknesses including poor dps performance while healing and no interrupts being available to them, two tasks formerly reserved to the melee damage camp if I recall correctly.

A white and gold Hrothgar male with golden facepaint, blond hair and black tipped ears! A blond Miqo'te he has the longest bushiest tail possible and is happy about it! For some reason all Au Ra look like they are on their way to get a root canal treatment in an hour, so here's a slightly more "pissed about being alive" Rey dragonoid human with golden markings and pale skin! And a dangerpotato I will not describe. Lalafel Rey. Smol, potato, pointy ears.

Sometimes a game crash turns into a real piece of art.
Screenshot from the game Risk of Rain 2, all graphics have been lowered to ridiculously low, the sreenshot shows the player frozen in the middle, he is surrounded by a plethora of purple lines ending in small pink-ish circle "rockets" fired off into the distance. The surrounding Area contains a circular arrangement of electric-blue spheres, caused by a large number of lighting strikes hitting these areas.
