In my JMP, I study the effects of allowing youth who would have aged out of foster care at 18 to stay until 21—offering support their peers not in foster care get from parents.

Friendly reminder that naloxone is not a substitute for anything long-term.

I tend to see things like “why is my tax money going to naloxone instead of therapy?”

They’re two separate lanes. Naloxone is a rescue medication. Think of it like an EpiPen.
