Just finished this very good book. A welcome departure from flip, easily resolved representations of relationships in a lot of contemporary fiction that I find increasingly irritating.

In an effort to make Bluesky more of what I want, here's a picture of my bird feeders, from which I am deriving light in the darkness. I think my great-grandfather George made the wooden one. It took WEEKS for the goldfinches to find the other one but they finally figured it out.
