The @startribune.com said they were ending my contract after a year. But, weeks after a year had passed since I signed in August 2024, I received these messages from my editor.

An Update:
I received an email canceling my contract as a columnist at @startribune.com after sharing this story publicly.
(I had written columns past the one-year contract already + been asked to continue on in July).

They're planning to arrive en masse at local church events.
And protesting the very major news organizations who are censoring reporters.
Luckily, you can't get fired from somewhere that hasn't hired you.
