Come read about how I made a terrible decision, activated deeply buried PTSD and started my barely begun healing journey. The world is on fire and I'm a mess

Ever wonder how essential oils became a toxic scam? I have the post for you.

Trigger warning: this post contains a brief mention of infanticide due to the founder of Young Life being a maniac.

A quarter of a million people marched on Washington in 1963 for equal civil rights. Over a MILLION people marched in Washington alone yesterday. Over 5 MILLION (so far!) peacefully protested yesterday. I'm crying. I'm sorry we have to do this again but I am so proud of everyone who is.

I'm with all of you in spirit today in protest. With all of my heart and soul. please remember that some of us did not stay at home out of complacency- some have small children, some are disabled, some are ill. But we are still pissed and still fighting.

Sen. Strom Thurmond voted against the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act, AND supported Jim Crow laws.

Thurmond’s record for longest floor speech (in protest of the Civil Rights Act, no less!) was just broken by a Black man, my good friend Cory Booker.

That’s America.

All of these victories shitler is listing off were achieved by immigrants. America is a country founded by, built by, and created by immigrants. We all agree that fighting racism was a victory- let's do it again.

(1,2) During the last Trump State Of The Union, I spoke the truth when I yelled out "What about victims of gun violence like my daughter." For that, I was removed, arrested, & jailed. This speech is a bottomless pit of undignified nonsense with evil at its core.

This morning at Dept of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) HQ in DC as mandatory return to office began, this video played on loop for ~5 mins on screens throughout the building, per agency source.

Building staff couldn’t figure out how to turn it off so sent people to every floor to unplug TVs.

I will not send a list of my "accomplishments" to verify whether I am a valuable employee or not. My 7 years of outstanding annual reviews will vouch for that. I will send a list with duties copied and pasted from the annual review template, however.

Things I did at work last week:

Mainly tried to reassure the population that we serve (trying to be as anonymous as I can) that I'm not leaving and I am here for them. Worked through my breaks and lunches. Had approx 37 panic attacks. Shove your email up your starfish, you sentinent chicken nug.

There's a lot of people out there feeling immense guilty about cutting MAGA family out of their lives.

Do you think the Vikings, the Romans, all of the civilizations before us gave a shit about who they were related to? Or do you think they rolled with their tribes, their crews, the people who

I've been looking at jobs since I don't know how far into the cuts I'll get. If anyone knows if a job where I can stay to myself, research my weird eclectic ADHD driven interests and write about them (potentially talk about them), and get paid for it-- let me know.

I made it through the first round of terminations, because I'm not a probationary employee. I don't know what the next round will entail. I've been crying since last night. This is an absolutely terrifying time, full of uncertainty. I cannot put into words more how scared I am.

Shitler thought Great Value Goebbels was referring to golden showers, was disappointed for only a minute until he was told the golden age of America is generally agreed to be the 1950s when women and minorities had no rights, LGBTQ were murdered and disabled people were locked in institutions.
Does “Golden Age” refer to a time when planes keep crashing, eggs cost $10–15 a dozen, the U.S. is being booed and protested by all our allies, workers are losing their jobs, and Americans’ personal data is being rummaged through by unelected oligarchs and their strange crew of 20-something incels?
