This is what the PM should have made them sign when he hired them. Now it's too late.

There are many possible responses. But "diddums" is my first thought. Its not the job of politicians to please everyone, its to solve problems. Some people will just have to lump it.

Geologist's tip: Large tightly wrapped blocks of mud sediments are not well received by customs officers and your samples you spent ages collecting are liable to confiscation

Therefore Tesla is not a business, it's a racket. This surely is contrary to US company law (I'm sure it would be in the UK).
November 11, 2025 at 5:15 PM
In a normal business the Chief Exec would be fired and personally sued for every penny if his personal conduct had such a Gerald Ratner (look it up) like effect on sales. Musk has destroyed #tesla business reputation.

It's irrelevant the Tory Party have ceased to exist on the ground. Their limited pool of activists under 80 have left politics or defected to Reform (the one nation Tories left for the Lib Dems years ago). These are death rattles.

Total dreck that should have ended once and for all the career of Ricky Gervais.
Such a contrast to Jason Segel's "The Muppets" which has real charm.

Yo are so very wrong.

I've let my kids cycle unaccompanied from Bramcote into the city since they were ?11/12 because of the segregated route pretty much all the way (albeit of very varied quality). Few parents in WB or LB would do the same. Soon they can knowing their kids will be safe.

Nimbys will Nimby. What bugs me is the road biker in Nottm cycling group complaining that HE can safely cycle over Lady Bay Bridge (narrow, busy, lethal) so obviously EVERYONE else can. Pure selfishness and a complete lack of empathy. He's Nottingham's John Forester

Nandy is hopeless, Labour figures I respect seem to like her but I see nothing. Say what you like about Wes Streeting or Bridget Phillipson but they know what they want to do with their departments. Nandy hasn't a clue.

Compare with the Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemeteries where all fallen soldiers from the British Empire / Commonwealth are commemorated together with equal dignity.

Spot on. The shrieking hatred of the RW appeals to a properion of UK population but makes them look hysterical lunatics to everyone else.

Should say "no need to engage"
November 8, 2025 at 10:25 PM
My overwhelming feeling is that these people want to be miserable. Let them, but there's no engage.

In 70s Bedfordshire he "did a skid, killed a kid, crushed his bollocks on a dustbin lid"

I know. The desire to shout "scab" is far greater than their desire to do the hard work to change things. Owen Jones is the ultimate expression of this tendency.

A total failure. You could eliminate a %age of transport carbon emissions for passengers and when routes join freight, and also improve capacity and speed. Instead MML electrification has stopped again because London brain and careerist politicians refusing to challenge Treasury.

It's a real risk. Many Hard Left locally are ex-miners really into coal. Green policy 101 is obviously coal is bad. Another should be opposing car-dependent green belt development. They just failed that test near me.
In LIb Dems we expect traditional Green supporters to join us.
November 8, 2025 at 8:35 AM
The efforts wasted by the Left on Corbyn baffles me. He's clearly difficult to work with, incapable of changing an opinion ever, and surrounds himself with really unpleasant hostile(and often misogynist) people. I hope for their sake the Greens consider who they let join.
November 8, 2025 at 8:26 AM
Fair enough. If you want the chance to achieve something, join the Greens. Because Your Party are chocolate teapot useless. Traditional Greens will likely find it uncomfortable though because there are some real differences in emphasis.
November 8, 2025 at 8:05 AM
The Greens seem to be able to actually function as a party, so kudos for that (it's a low bar). They will likely regret the people they are currently recruiting who have emerged from the same political gene pool.
