Not gonna lie, that's a very small banana...

Done = 18. Never done = 2 (Boombox, & set of encyclopedias) I have a friend who once bought the complete set of massive volume Encyclop Britannica though... 😁

Inevitably, I caught up with the driver later further on. Apparently they 'hadn't seen the sign advising no overtaking of cyclist', 'hadn't put me in danger', but, at least they did apologise, and 'will have a look at the sign next time'...

Yes, it kind of irritated me that I hadn't taken the lane to begin with. 'Give 'em and inch, and...' The RR overtook first from green light, then that second high powered SUV roared past in narrow lane, closely.

I had this from council, re my query about pedn wait times 'Crossing is linked to the nearby jnctns. Coordinating the signals helps to clear vehicles where there are several bus stops which benefit from this. No current plans to change the operat'n of the signals but will continue to monitor.'

Highmoor Common Wood near Nettlebed is one my fav autumnal woodland ride routes. Well worth the slight deviation off the B481...

Well done on the ride. I saw quite a few riders doing the HH100 particularly on Cox's Lane, as I was heading towards Wallingford. Some fantastic autumn colours today.

It's great being on the bike at sunrise. 👍

Lightweight. 😅 Looks like a great ride. Get a good sunrise?

👍on the backup. I replace my NiMH AAA / top up Li-ION after/before each use mostly. When I did a dark commute, at rear, I had one flashing & one static, for 'better depth and distance cues', & in case one failed. TBH if I'm just into street lit town locally at night, often just one flashing.

I managed to get COVID a couple of weeks ago - so was off the bike for several days...

Same here - first proper clean for ages today, though not as clean as yours by look of it. 😉 Slightly better than 0.5 on my chain, I was pleased to see. I usually deploy the hosepipe for winter skog, but that's not going to happen with the 'no end in sight' TW hosepipe ban. #FixTheLeaks

Glad ZB's OK. 'Helmet save my life' is a personal opinion, and isn't necessarily incorrect, though it could well be. We don't really know the specifics of the incident, but the crack shows significant kinetic energy was absorbed. I wear a helmet, but it absolutely needs to remain a matter of choice.
