The U.K., which controls some territories in the Caribbean, operates an intelligence network in the area. In a major break between longtime allies, it has stopped sharing this intelligence with the U.S. government. trib.al/8CtoMyu

Gaza has dropped out of the conversation in many places post ceasefire - similar to Lebanon, subject to daily Israeli attacks all year despite a ceasefire here.

But the attacks are ongoing and people continue to die regularly in both places.
"Israel violated the ceasefire agreement at least 282 times from October 10 to November 10, through the continuation of attacks by air, artillery and direct shootings, the Government Media Office in Gaza reports."

How many times has Israel violated the Gaza ceasefire? Here are the numbers

JOHNS: “I don't think it was a far stretch for Chris d'Entremont to cross over and join the Liberal Party of today, ’cause Carney's running on...a Progressive Conservative agenda. And the Conservative Party has certainly pivoted back to more the Reform Party of the past and a MAGA-type party.”

“Israeli soldiers have described a free-for-all in Gaza and a breakdown in norms and legal constraints, with civilians killed at the whim of individual officers.”

The stories will get worse over time as censorship erodes. But we knew and didn’t stop it.

If the Twitter/X meltdown over Eurogamer's Arc Raiders review contains anything useful, it's a reminder that the average scroller does not think that hard about things outside themselves.

Canada has lost its measles elimination status.
A sad day, a win for anti-vaccine ignorance and politicized public health, a new age where children, families, and communities will face additional health risks for no good reason other than the comfort of joining others with similar fact-less beliefs.

oh no

THE DAWN CAME LATE, AND THE BREAKFAST HAD TO WAIT
WHEN THE GALES OF NOVEMBER CAME SLASHIN'
WHEN AFTERNOON CAME, IT WAS FREEZING RAIN
IN THE FACE OF A HURRICANE WEST WIND
50 years ago today, Nov. 10, 1975, the Edmund Fitzgerald sank beneath the waves of Lake Superior during a massive storm.
The sinking took the lives of all 29 men on the ship, and became immortalized in Gordon Lightfoot's song.
This is the story of this terrible tragedy.

I was playing Arc Raiders tonight and I left a match before I was ready to go because two guys were holding an elevator for me and I was like "damn I don't want to be rude here," so I bailed with them.

This is my favourite thing about Arc Raiders.

But the cargo bed says ‘cosplay builder with soft hands’.

Time to ban these fragile-man-mobiles from our cities.

Anyway if anyone out there can explain to me how Canada had a choice about which party came into power in the last election beyond LPC/CPC I'd love to hear it. Telling me that "we don't vote for a PM" and then blocking me when I reply that I'm aware of this nuance in our system is not cutting it.
