Using my first week back to re-edit, re caption and re-tag a shoot I did back in 2009 inside YOI Aylesbury for my prison picture archive. I spent a day inside, a much more volatile place than a standard male estate prison, we visited a number of wings and got to see some association time. #prison

Photographed in Eastwood Park earlier this year, a women's #prison near Bristol. I was struck by the number of women who were from Wales (there are no female prisons in Wales) and wondered how many visits they get being so far from home. The last image is an officer on a constant watch shift.

I'm not really into #birdphotography but when you see a #Sparrowhawk floating on a pigeon it's just caught in #Folkestone harbour it's got to be worth a frame or two. It sat there for about 30 seconds then a big wave came over and it decided to abandon the kill.

Been working on a new project recently about defence from the sea. Every year at my local beach they move tons and tons of shingle from one end of the beach to the other. Every year, the sea then moves it back again. Like a giant game with a billion pieces.
