Thanks David, I try not to waste anyone's time, including my own, by making my art relevant to reality. Glad some works for you. And thanks Eye for repost, it's bound to have a few more people get to see it.

took me a second, but now it makes my day.

Anna thanks for repost. I just noticed that the down size file for Bsky is 14 times less sharp than original. On this one that snap of crisp air and sparkling sun is kinda lost in translation. agian thanks for repost.

Thanks for repost. I call my work Abstract Realism. So it is a real tree stump just as is, untouched but somewhat abstracted to bring across the in person effect. Thanks again.

This image is outstanding, the contrasts bring out the vibrancy. Dark clouds against color. Blue sky to storm. Openness but one spectacular tree. Visible rain. This is the kind of thing you can see if your looking but can be elusive for photography.

The spruce make it sing. very familiar.

The flash of reflection makes it work for me.

Scarlett, thanks for the compliment. I'm happy to know the image worked for you. It's almost totally straight out of the camera as I worked it at the time. You see something and with low sun it''s often gone before you can get to work. Thanks again.

That's good. You show the basic concept of reflection. On one plain is the reflecting surface and the other is the reflection itself.
