I love that when Todd Monken needs 1 yard in his own end, he just takes Henry off the field and mashes his giant, red “four verts” button.

What a ball and what a catch.

That felt like the wrong decision.

My wife & I were looking at a bathroom vanity on Facebook.

Dude said he wanted either $200 or would trade it for a home stereo & a table saw.

It felt weird.

Wife says go check out his profile and see if he seems sketchy.

Well that’s judgment—

…okay yeah we don’t need this.

The last owners of our house DIYed some terrible rustic shiplap in one of the bedrooms and they nailed it a billion times straight into the studs because god forbid that it doesn’t withstand hurricane force winds.

So I’m trying to remove that without tearing an entire wall down.

Derrik has been on the right side of the conversation since the beginning.
It’s two things

1) Other than Vick, I’d just never really seen a QB move like Lamar. Not just the agility and explosiveness, but the ease at which he wielded it

2) He was deeply misunderstood as a passer and it infuriated me on his behalf. He was so, so polished coming out of Louisville
You have mentioned for almost a decade you have been a fan of Lamar; what made you fall in love with him as a player and what do you love the most about him now/what do you believe makes him stand out amongst his peers now?

The family and I flew in and out of Birmingham’s airport for the first time last weekend, and wowzers the visceral reaction we had to seeing this machine in real life.
friends, I’m really trying my best to return to a 2015 level of quality social content and I know I’ve got a long way to go but may I humbly present….BIRMINGHAM AIRPORT’S BARBECUE VENDING MACHINE

I felt what those folks back in the 1880s must’ve felt when they saw pictures moving on a screen for the first time. Legitimately a top-2 theater experience for me.

Hey everyone, not a better group of people for me to live and die with on every pitch. This was a lot further than we thought we’d get this year, and in the end the thing that was the Achilles heel all year bit this team when it mattered most.

If Eberle and Michael were available…

WHY WERE HARTMAN AND BROWN EVEN REMOTELY IN THE REALM OF BEING OPTIONS
June 18, 2025 at 8:52 PM
I mean, I had zero thought that Forbes would start. But man, I can’t believe they didn’t go with Michael or literally anyone who had shown the ability to start a game and throw strikes. It was an indefensible decision.

OH YES I COULD
I have to believe Garret Pike has hit a breaking ball sometime in his career but I couldn’t testify to it in a court of law.

I mean, this is just losing baseball. Flailing at bunts, fouling off or just straight up whiffing at 91 mph fastballs, and waving curveballs into lazy fly outs. Just uncompetitive.

I love that Dan decided to DH Pike today because what we most certainly couldn’t lose from the lineup was his bat.

I taught my toddler to point and say “vista” whenever we drive along a scenic vista.
Once again it is Father’s Day, which means it’s time to share the most Dad* thing you did in the last year. As is custom, I will go first:

Watching YouTube videos for small repair jobs around the house has turned into watching YouTube videos for large repair jobs I cannot and should not attempt.

Pike has never seen a first pitch he doesn’t like.
