They work quite well once we understood their capacity. Very good pull out resistance but poor sheer. A good match for the NLT use case which is make big slab and cut.

The Cabin_ph walls are up. A few years in the making they are NLTimber slabs l. We used the LignoLovk nails for the window panels.

We had to do a little ADU on a larger project. I was like just put in a hot plate and call it good. The client was a bit more ambitious it turns out.

The Barringer Meteorite Crater is wild in person as it is hard to see at the top just how deep it goes down from the existing terrain. Tough to capture on camera but the section shows the uplift. Also its $29 for the tourist treatment.

Got the $150 ebay special insulation blower worked out. Nothing worked but some good old fashioned bypass wiring and tensioning the drive cains and we have some cellulose in the walls.

70 bags of Rockwool insulation up to my sister's house today. We grew up there and used to heat just the living room with a kerosene heater in the 80's.

One of the first moves for the new CA State Senate leader is to write legislation to apparently block a single housing development in her home town Santa Barbara. It has 54 low income units.

Back to our issue- the entire four block neighborhood drains to this narrow ditch which flood the street every rain. In July it back up hundred of feet up the street and hit all the houses. The city did nothing for years now so our neighbor had to call in the counselor.

Shout out to our Santa Fe city council rep Micheal Garcia who came out to help deal with a long term flooding issue on our block. Rains have hit the city hard this summer and we talked about the new reality of weather.
