Victimhood claims in German political manifestos
Political campaigns often work with victimhood claims—stories construed around an (alleged) injustice that needs to be redressed or retaliated against. Notably, scholars have argued that victimhood c...

While headlines focus on how many people claim asylum in the UK, there's one number that's not even officially counted:

The number of people who die while trying to seek sanctuary here.

We know our policies kill people. Their deaths must not be ignored.

These unconscionable cuts to a vital lifeline fund for some of the most vulnerable children & young adults in England are staggering - a 60% reduction from £7.5K to just £3K per child

and even worse - these changes were introduced without consultation, warning and no evidence base
🚨This is not what I expect from a Labour government

🎃 carving is for light weights. I tell my kid this every year when he is happily scooping out a pumpkin. I have strong (and painful!) childhood memories of the literal hours it took to get anything like a face on a turnip. But it was worth it 👻 #HappyHalloween

When using Microsoft Word or Google Docs, don't just make text bigger and bolder to make it a heading. That will work for sighted users, but screen reader users will miss that and just hear it as normal paragraph text. Use actual heading styles, like level 1 through 6.

Have you noticed the gradual and accelerating way in which the discussion of the rights of people who live with mental ill-health, distress and trauma has been pushed into the background in favour of surveillance, manipulation and erasure? The lives of those with mental ill-health as testing ground
This will require a pilot programme. So, can we start with AI counselling this guy on a daily basis until it determines either that he is no longer a complete sociopath or to commit him?
