I love the Anno series in general, but never really felt like the attempts at combat clicked. I'm stoked to see this after hearing you say it also is a serviceable RTS.

Episode 1 is also impressive in that you can cut it completely from the trilogy and not lose anything even remotely interesting from the entire story arc. Just hot garbage from top to bottom.
