He could’ve played Gana in early for the return but the defender would’ve likely showed him down the line & prevented the return ball. It was good defending but we were also too slow like that break away at Man City last season. Why we haven’t bought genuine pace for last 3 years is mind bending.

Merlin has had a positive start & is coming off an injury but he needs to be tracking Sarr there on the third, especially as it was him who gave it away in midfield, not that that should make a difference #NSNO
