The name is statutorily DoD! Established by law and not an executive order. Like DoW is at best a nickname but has no legal place in official documents or communications. I'm going crazy that editors don't hold this line.

OSD is compromised and we're stuck in the maddening position of having to try to fill in the gaps between SV keynoteism and manosphere contrarianism. It's our jobs to work with this but we're not working toward the same goals anymore

This is fair and right but also it's important not to discount the momentum-leadership thing -- Dems looking at their feet about why *not* to press the advantage between now and next year is self-fulfilling
