Gut-wrenched to hear about/see so many great friends/colleagues in NOAA lose their jobs for no reason other than they were new employees. 😰 anyone who needs to talk/vent — I’m ready to listen for as long as needed.

Afternoon thought: after writing an 8-page (single spaced) bibliography for a proposal — it’s too bad these references can’t/won’t be acknowledged as formal citations. I think they should get credit too especially since grant writers deem literature worthy to support (often) large grant awards.
