I’ve got the Ai-S 35mm f/2 and had for a while the 35mm f/2 AF-D, both superb… I can’t see the point of anything faster/more expensive (but know at least one person while want one just to pose with it!)

Not with that exact setup but I use wifey’s Nikon D5600, 40mm Micro lens and a pixl-latr from @hamishgill.bsky.social and I’m extremely happy with both the results and the speed of the setup…

That's something I need to do for my/wifey's 10.5mm Fisheye… I use an orange filter a lot!

Mine flares, but vignettes even with the recommended hood… that said it only cost me a fiver from a charity shop about five years ago… 😁

I’ve got a very early pre-Ai 28mm f3.5 and it’s shocking! The later pre-Ai, and indeed the Ai versions are so much better
