"Welcome To Derry" is inexcusably terrible and I suspect it will continue to be. Just rewatch the movies, y'all.

I saw a Spirit Halloween in a closed down fireworks stand that used to be a gas station.

Tis the season.

Because I am cultured and well-read, I always laugh when anyone says the phrase "See you next Tuesday" to children.

Dotti and I have been catching up on #horror movies neither of us has seen before. We're going by decade. The 90's were fucking rough.

Finally saw "The Wicker Man" (1973), a movie I have read about to some extent and no one once wrote about how much singing they do in it. It's a horror movie in the 70s so I figured on the nudity, but never once imagined it as a musical.

Roku was advertising at me a movie called Young Dracula and while I'm sure the movie is probably not my thing, it's a decent band name.

I have made several attempts over the years to get into the #CriticalRole community on Reddit, but it is just not a very nice place to be.

Is it too much to ask to find a #D&D game I can join online that runs on a weekday during the work day while my wife is working and I have unstructured time?

Yes. Yes it is.

It's dumb that the administration makes a blatantly false assertion and every YouTuber and press outlet headline is "Does Tylenol cause autism?" Instead of "Tylenol does not cause autism." They've already got you asking the question before you have facts. Fuck facts. Need clicks.

New @tricialockwood.bsky.social book is out! Thankful for a long ass drive tomorrow to get the audiobook going. Feels nice to be excited about a book.

I am as happy for Nico Hulkenberg today as Oscar Piastri is unhappy about that penalty call. #formula1

Running Mothership for the first time tonight. Not my first horror game, but I am definitely excited and nervous to run these poor players through my brain's version of "scary".

I always think I will be able to get more work done taking the laptop to the toilet with me than I ever actually do.

Yesterday I saw an orangutan at the Ft Worth Zoo throw a rock at a group of guests. I am unsure of its intentions obviously, but it was interesting to see it happen. Afterwards, the orangutan seemed to be gesturing to my wife to get her to give the rock back, so it could have been a play behavior.

A thing happened to me that has never happened to me before as far as I know: I was walking with Dotti in the woods and stepped over a log. When Dotti got to the same log she nervously informed me that a venomous 🐍 was resting on it and I'd stepped right over it by inches. I usually see them. Dang.

Imagine telling your 90's self that in order to rent a movie in the future, you will need to photograph your television with your telephone.

In Terminator 2, the T-1000 can mimic the clothes of people it copies. It doesn't wear clothes, its "skin" becomes clothes. Arnold had to time jump naked because time travel rules. But the T-1000 is always technically naked, even when it looks like its not. So it Chose to look naked when it arrived.

White Lotus finale was meh. There I said it.

This week, I'm sending all of my spare good vibes in the direction of Yuki Tsunoda. There is the potential for something great to happen this weekend at the Japanese Grand Prix, and I believe he is capable of pulling it off. #f1

Kimi Antonelli basically won The Hunger Games yesterday. Good on him. Looking forward to his season. #F1

Dotti and Evie are staying up late with me for Australian Grand Prix. I am staying up to my normal hours. Hopefully there isn't a rain delay... or a ton of red flags. There will probably be a red flag, though. So many rookies, and a couple of them seemingly out of their depth. #f1
