Easily and by far the #Eagles opinion I trust and respect most (more than many NFL analysts on TV/radio) explaining how ridiculous the theory is JUST Jalen/AJ defied entire playcall/gameplanplan.

The oppo narrative is basically saying Col. Jessep didn’t order the Code Red on PFC William Santiago.
Eagles Film Analyst Shane Haff analyzed the Philadelphia Eagles controversial pass play turnover on downs at Lambeau Field that jeopardized their victory over the Packers on Monday Night Football, 11/10/25: I don't buy this. The Eagles didn't try to draw the Packers offside. They didn't give a hard count or fake tap to the C. They lined up and ran a play. If you wanted to take a delay of game to give more room for the punter to work, you don't have to take a timeout to do that. The Eagles took a timeout, lined up to run a play, never tried to draw the Packers offside, and then snapped the ball. I fully buy that Hurts checked AJ Brown's route into something else. I don't buy for a second that Sirianni told them to take a delay of game, and they just didn't do it. If that were true, it's an even bigger indictment of the coaching staff than simply calling that play would be to begin with, because it would involve the entire offense agreeing to disregard what the coach told them to do. Not a single OL is late out of their stance. Not a single WR is late off the line. The whole team being on board with defying the coach with the game on the line is much less believable (and much worse if true) than the coach making a stupid decision.

I’m an #Eagles fan so thoroughly fatigued solely by the constant rhetoric, controversy, and selective morality of the debate surrounding the play, that I’d be RELIEVED to see the Tush Push banned.

With that said, this theory is, at the VERY least, compelling.
