Meta is earning a fortune on a deluge of fraudulent ads, documents show
Meta projected 10% of its 2024 revenue would come from ads for scams and banned goods, and it internally estimates that its platforms show users 15 billion scam ads a day, company documents show.

✅ What to do about it
No financial institution, no fintech, no government agency, no media title, no brand, no right-thinking person should be on X while it’s under its current ownership and governance. Looking for an alternative? Try Threads if you must but I’d recommend Bluesky.

💡 Why it matters
Sky writes, “our analysis shows that the platform is boosting right-wing content, extreme content, and politicians X owner Elon Musk favours.” Simply put: Musk's twitter is drenching users with right-wing propaganda. It is a far-right radicalisation engine, by design.

✅ What to do about it
It’s as true for product distribution as it is for promotion: meet your customers where they already are. And - just as they’re already increasingly turning to it for information - they’ll soon be turning to AI to transact.

💡 Why it matters
‘Agentic commerce’ isn’t theory; it’s reality. ChatGPT users will be able to check out instantly using PayPal, and PayPal will support payments processing for merchants using OpenAI Instant Checkout.

Indeed. Except, you know, he wouldn’t.
