Manhattan’s grid is tilted by 29 degrees off of due North. Boulder’s grid is more complex because it has two parts. Most of Boulder is aligned exactly with the parallel, but Pearl Street and the downtown area is off set by about 11 degrees.

I’ll try to find out empirically, there is a nice 40th parallel memorial for it on Baseline and Broadway, and a similar setup with split rocks on Pearl.

No surprises there. Have you ever tried to click on the 9News ethics policy link? Apparently no one at the company has, it’s been broken for years. I notified them a year or so ago, but here we are.

I went through this with The Denver Post. I couldn’t understand how these career journalists who are supposed to have integrity & passion for the truth could stay. I came to the opinion they don’t actually care enough & are misguided. Plus personal needs (Union workers are cushioned). From my blog:
