Comments on the Northern Gateway Draft Plan Amendment close 5pm Tuesday.

The @greatercanberra.org.au take: great that rezoning is *finally* happening, but it's also far from sufficient. Height limits as low as 8.5m *right next to light rail*

interesting to see Peter Cain MLA asking about what the ACT Government is doing re both short and long term AI risks and regulation

(I expect the answer will be fairly boring: we have policies around government use and everything else is up to the feds?)

One of the bathrooms in the rural holiday home we are staying in has the latch for the door lock on the *outside* of the bathroom. Has the person who installed this ever used a bathroom before

Proud to be a @profaus.bsky.social member, as always, and particularly proud to see so many active members that filling out my committee ballot paper is actually a challenge

Great to see 72% of respondents at the pop-up consultations supporting the Missing Middle Housing Reforms - hoping to see a lot of supportive submissions once those are released shortly!

there are a total of 3 entities that have ever been granted exemptions from the need to hold licences under the Traders (Licensing) Act 2016 (ACT)

Suncorp is authorised to deal in cars without a vehicle dealer's licence, a defunct bike charity was allowed to deal in second hand bikes

and, uh, IBM?
