It's the start of a new month, and I'm hoping to paint two units this month as well as finish an additional unit previously started.

Progress at last! At least one of the half finished bases cluttering up my desk got finally finished. Figures Victrix with Aventine heads and Gripping Beast casualty. Only wish those Victrix capes weren't so 'flowy'

As it's #DoctorWho day, but also the 20th anniversary of the series revival I watched 'Rose' the first episode of the new series shown in 2005. I was excited for this having heard it was coming back in 2003, then reading Doctor Who magazine for teaser info about the new series. Finally the trailers

Eleven Dark Elf Executioners for #TheOldWorld for my Corsair raiders themed army. Two characters, and three units done now. I'm playing a friend at Warhammer World in just under two weeks, and I have two units to paint, a unit of Harpies to tidy up, and two Bolt Throwers to finish. #warhammer #wfb

It sounds like at least one, maybe a couple more, missing #DoctorWho episodes have been found with an announcement to come. It's supposed to be big so either something from an enturely missing story (such as Marco Polo), or maybe completes a partially missing story. Hopefully we will hear soon.

Played my first GW game in ten years last Thursday night, a game of Old World. It was fun and I'm enthused to play again. It had the bones of old WFB but some noticbly differences. It was nice to get an army out that I used as a young adult.

Twelve Empire Middenheim Archers to use in Saga Age of Magic. This is the seventh unit in a challange with a friend to paint an army over the year. Painted with GW colours, Vallejo Game Colour Ghostly Grey and Model Colour White, and Army Painter Gunmetal and Plate Mail Metal on the metal parts.

Empire stuff for my slow build Saga: Age of Magic army. Not a fan of the blue on Knights Panther, so went for the classic John Blanche artwork colour scheme. The other knight is a Raging Heroes model from years ago that I've finally painted, plus a Marauder Dwarf.

Empire stuff for my slow build Saga: Age of Magic army. Not a fan of the blue on Knights Panther, so went for the classic John Blanche artwork colour scheme. The other knight is a Raging Heroes model from years ago that I've finally painted, plus a Marauder Dwarf.
