Mike Lawler set up all the guardrails in the world and it STILL couldn't shield from the fact that his pro-Trump ideology is deeply, deeply unpopular among New Yorkers. To silence and remove rather than listen to your constituents is a cowardly, anti-democratic move.
🧵
NY-17 Rep. Mike Lawler had a local social worker physically dragged out of his town hall Sunday night.

Emily Feiner was singled out by private security, lifted out of her seat, as the crowd chanted “let her stay” and “shame, shame.”
She’s a constituent.
Not a threat.
Fascism again.

Americans’ livelihoods are on the line. Speaker Johnson, debate @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social. The public deserves to see the contrast in values for themselves.

Significant win here: Susan Crawford wins by 10+ points beating the Trump/Musk candidate. Musk paid tens of millions to try and buy this election and he lost.

Tonight, voters decisively rejected extremism in Wisconsin.

Cory Booker has been holding the Senate floor and is about to reach 24 hrs. He’s already achieved the 2nd longest filibuster in history and may surpass Strom Thurmond’s 24:18. All in the name of stopping Trump’s authoritarian takeover. Thank you Senator.

Trump saw that Stefanik’s seat could’ve flipped blue, that’s why he pulled her nomination. I’ll take that as a good sign for us in 2026. We’re taking back the House.

The Republican funding bill that passed slashed $15 billion that would’ve gone toward community projects — including money for Mike Lawler’s district. As always, Lawler put party politics before New Yorkers’ best interest.

Every House Democrat voted against this harmful budget.
Lawmakers were set to bring over $15 billion back to their home states. Then Congress passed the GOP's government funding bill.
Over $15 billion in earmarked funding won't be spent this year. It's vulnerable Republicans and their districts who stand to lose the most.

Can’t be the same White House that pardoned Jan 6 insurrectionists, rapists and cop killers. Can’t be that one.

Push back worked.
Round one goes to Team America.

We remain in the ring until far right extremism has been completely and totally knocked out.

You’ve got to be kidding me. The self-proclaimed leaderless anti-dem organization is crashing out online in search of a leader. You could’ve had Kamala, but y’all f*cked around for 4 years and now you’re finding out.
Trump: *illegally and unilaterally claims power to pause funding to hospitals, preschools, health clinics, Meals on Wheels, students, and more*
