It is with profound sadness that we share the news Professor Juliet M. Moringiello passed away late last week. Juliet left a lasting impression on Widener and her influence will continue to be felt through the thousands of students she guided into careers that are helping others every day.

The legit companies in the space like Coinbase have invested heavily in compliance. They complain rightly that the bad guys often get a free pass, while the regulators go after them. But the regulators going after no one still gives a comparative advantage to the scammers.
