i rly need ppl to realize genAI has never been made for the sake of the average/poor person, not for art or media, not for literature or research or information, not for kids or education. it's harmful in so many ways on a wide scale that no one except the few rich benefit from it

Create the things you wish to see, not those you think others would like to see. In so doing you attract the kinds of people who are interested in the same things you are -- who are interested in you! 🥰

Comparing your work to others’ isn’t inherently bad — it’s what you do with the comparison that counts.
If you’re in the wrong headspace, you’ll never be able to translate inspiration into skill.
When you only draw for others and your art will be worse.
Draw for YOU and you art will be better.
