I always find it interesting how the story changes when a lawyer gets to court. They can say anything they want outside of court without accountability but the rules are vastly different in court where you can get seriously penalized for lying.

Pues a mi, ninguno de estos partidos me parecen. De verdad estamos tan mal que nos conformamos con “lo menos peor”?. Que no hayan quedado las cabecillas que conocemos, no significa que no queden sus peones…
#Actualidad | Así quedó conformada la Junta Directiva del Congreso 2026-2027. La única planilla fue propuesta por el oficialismo tras llegar a consensos con otras bancadas legislativas.

A good interview, and good analysis of the InSight Crime. Steven Dudley has a deep understanding of the corrupt system in Guatemala and its different actors. Currently there’s some efforts being made to stop these CIACS at a political level but their networks go deep in different sectors of the gov.
