Three months ago we wrote a piece on the rise of return-to-office mandates and the inevitable increase of viral illness in Canada

Today, The New York Times has published a story eviscerating Danielle Smith and her provincial government's response to the measles crisis in Alberta.

Interestingly, Deena Hinshaw is interviewed for what appears to be the first time since she was fired.

More than 70% of these projects, which received funding from 2013-14 to 2022-23, were NOT about any form of social inequality or injustice. In fact, for each form of inequality or injustice, there were less than 10% projects being funded.

It is yet again that time of year!

Exceptional tuition increase proposals at the University of Alberta have started to drop.

A potential 80% TUITION INCREASE in nursing for 2026.

Cheers to the UCP for making education accessible and affordable.

Students cannot afford to eat!

The Alberta UCP's expert panel on post-secondary education has finally released their report.

First order of business? Getting rid of those pesky tuition caps.

This morning, the following email was individually sent to every MLA in the province of Alberta requesting intervention in the University of Alberta's decision to slash all child care funding for their students, faculty and staff.

The president was CC'd on each one as well.

Some pretty wild data out of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

After introducing controlled entrances to Manitoba Liquor and Lottery stores, thefts and robberies have essentially stopped.

A decrease of 90%.
