Oh, okay, wow. I'm trying to do some preliminary research on step-parents and.... do not... I repeat... do not search for "stepmom" or "stepmother" on here. It isn't what you want.

Step-mothering is the hardest thing I've ever done. It's exhausting, and heart-wrenching, and chaotic, and the list goes on. I love my step-kid - she doesn't make it hard, necessarily. The experience I've had with the birth-mother, however, does. The experience I have had is heartbreaking sometimes.

Okay, finished the ACOTAR main books and working through ACOSF. I'm not sure I'm digging ACOSF as much as I did the first 4 (even tho I recognize the problematic nature of these romance novels lol). I did see that Crescent City is now connected to ACOTAR. Perhaps they go on my TBR list.

Our entire street is being broken into, both houses and vehicles, by a few individuals who are working together. Our PD has been great with helping us, but I’ve had zero sleep even though we have alarms.

Listen. I'm not into romance novels. Nor am I into romantasy (which I ONLY NOW learned of). However, I finally caved and started reading the Court books. And, I gotta say, wow, I'm addicted. But also, I hate Tamlin.
