They treat the male standard as the default because they hope it will exclude women, but that standard was never based on the rigors of the job. If it were then it would be practical tests of can you carry the required gear for the required distance. Instead it is how many pull-ups can you do.

Always “dudes in dresses” with these guys but never their actual complaint of women in pants, which they know they can’t complain about even in today’s misogynistic environment.

Women shouldn’t be expected to meet the “same physical standard as men” instead there should be physical standards for what is actually required for the job, and both men and women should be able to meet those standards. What I found in the military is a lot of standards unrelated to the actual job

There have been no appropriations of any tariff money by congress, so every cent that was brought in should still be there. If it is not then is is evidence of more illegality.

After this is all over the GOP will be remembered as the party that found money to pay the military, prop up Argentina, and deport day laborers, but went to court to try to avoid using money already designated to help the working poor buy food.

He still doesn’t seem to understand how limited SNAP benefits are. You can’t just spend them on anything you want.

That’s the rules, if you have ever endorsed a black woman, then you must endorse all black women or you are a hypocrite. It doesn’t matter if that woman is diametrically opposed to all of your views and criticizes your career non-stop.

They don’t understand that it was never identity politics on the left. They assumed that race was all that mattered to the left, but they only really cared about everyone having a shot.

If the plan were good it would be announced, not leaked. The only reason to worry about leaks is if it is a bad plan. In this case the “plan” appears to be “we don’t care if people have health coverage or not, so we will dismantle anything that helps keep people covered and replace it with nothing”

They need to be called on this in their next interview, ask them what steps they have taken and what they have found. Can’t let the accusation stand alone. If this is so important to you then find the funding. If they can’t then that needs to be made clear that it was baseless all along.

Seriously though, we have a spot in a closet for our handmade protest signs. Our signs from 2016 are just as valid as the day they were made.

I mean I saw a bunch of signs that probably broke the bank. These things probably ran $6-$10 (most of that due to Trump’s inflation)! But honestly, who can afford that in an economy that Trump is actively tanking!
