Mine are a bit older, 29 and 42. They manage just fine on their own-sometimes I wish they would ask me how to do some thing or if they should do something. Just for old times?

Don’t look at it as being behind. Look at it as a huge stash of non-perishable entertainment for upcoming needs. Collecting books is not the same as reading books for me. I do my best, but I could never read them all.

Libraries have kids sections too with free activities as well as books. Sometimes they even have low stimulus areas for kids with special needs. Mine was into Manga which is quite expensive to purchase, but our library had tons of it in the kids section.

They are fantastic books.

Yeah, I had to do that with my sick orange cat because she had intestinal lymphoma and if she ate anything it produced horrible results downstream. I had to wash her a few times in the sink just her hind quarters. My assistance was very much not appreciated.
