Heya, this June, I'm again at the Geneva SciComm School. In my module, we'll look into creative practices, artistic media, and genres as tools for bringing out human voices of science and fostering sci/society conversations.

We'll also work on devising a performative outreach event.

My "Boil, Pour, Stir" for the Fletcher's Players evening of new writing last Tuesday at the Corpus Playroom. If (when!) it becomes a full piece, I shall stick to the same design 😎

Hello!.. Yes? it's me!.. Yes, I'm on my way to run the half a day creative workshop for the Cambridge Festival! Saturday morning? The best time!

The first "TheCultureLab" of Lent! We tapped into science's multilingualism with a panel of exercises inspired by Peter Brook's work. How incredible it was to see the practical facets of communication crystallise right in front of us through the performative work of our great PDN postdocs.

Un brief voyage à Paris, - and one more classroom seamlessly transformed into a theatre space. This was by far the most challenging workshop: 3 hrs for creating and producing and some 20 inquisitive minds from philosophy, cog-sci and history of art to provoke.

The last workshop of the term, a true culmination. We drifted into spaces of ideating about ideals and utopias of science. And as the final treat -the moving feedback from our dear fellow scientists. Can’t wait to re-start the workshops in the next term. Cheers to us, @hscottfordsmand.bsky.social!
