Listen, Republicans aren't just passing some tax cuts, and they're not just destroying Medicaid to do it.

They're cramming through a laundry list of partisan goals that will upend all parts of the government and harm families and communities in all sorts of ways.

It's one big, bullshit bill... 🧵

AOC: The math is not adding up. Their claim is that one million undocumented people are on Medicaid. So why are they trying to cut 13.7 million Americans off their healthcare?

Happy 99th birthday to the man who gave voice to the wild. 🎉

Sir David Attenborough, thank you for a lifetime dedicated to the natural world, and for sharing its story with wisdom, wonder, and grace.

You've inspired generations to fall in love with nature.

Wow…and microplastics?
A set of chemicals found in food packaging, plastics, and lotions and shampoos has been linked to hundreds of thousands of deaths from heart disease, according to a study published Tuesday in the journal eBioMedicine.
Common chemicals in plastic linked to over 350,000 deaths from heart disease
Researchers estimate that exposure to phthalates contributes to 13 percent of all heart disease deaths in people between 55 and 64 years old each year.

Exactly…the world is a diverse place; this is the right thing to do as well as good business.
Marriott’s CEO said it straight: “We welcome all… we create opportunities for all… that’s who we are as a company.”

He went back to his hotel to find 40K emails from Marriott associates worldwide saying “thank you.”

Plenty of CEOs talk. Capuano showed up.

Marriott still has my business.

NEW: Mahmoud Khalil's wife gave birth to their child without him after ICE denied their request to let him be present.

“This was a purposeful decision by ICE to make me, Mahmoud, and our son suffer,” Dr. Abdalla said. “My son and I should not be navigating his first days on earth without Mahmoud."

I feel like we need to keep saying this because it’s so insane: This is a legal U.S. resident who has been detained for over a month now for his political opinions.
The Department of Homeland Security denied Mahmoud Khalil permission to attend the birth of his first child, who was delivered at a New York hospital on Monday, according to emails reviewed by The New York Times.

Instead of cutting health care, education, environmental protections, and public services like child care, they should be funding them. And reducing if not eliminating the extreme separation of wealth in the US. Support and a bright future are what make most people want to be parents, not a medal.
Trump administration has shown signs of enthusiasm for a pronatalist agenda. DOGE head Elon Musk, a father of 14, posts regularly on social media about the need for Americans to have more babies; he has also promoted NatalCon on X.
Trump may soon offer a motherhood medal, an idea popularized in Nazi Germany

I also hope to see Kilmar and check on his condition — and remind him that we won’t stop fighting until he’s home.

Today House Republicans, cheered on by the richest person on Earth, passed a budget framework that will cut support for the poorest people in our country.

All while cutting taxes for corporations and the wealthy, and massively increasing the deficit.
