It's almost funny just how objectively wrong all the mythology around Thanksgiving is in the US. Just have a normal end of harvest festival like everyone else does in the Autumn, you already love Halloween, do that.

Wicked the show falters in the second act because it has to rush to bring the characters into their Baum/MGM versions and fails miserably. Act 1 of Wicked just doesn't work as a backstory to Wizard of Oz. Based on what I've heard about For Good, I'm not optimistic they resolved this issue.

The whole asylum barracks situation is evidence that there is no such thing as moderate Farageism. Those refugess were only in hotels because the Tories wanted to find an excuse to deport them and Labour don't have the spine to just let them live normal lives.

I could draft a more functional tax policy than Rachel Reeves. Granted I probably couldn't get it through parliament with how much more tax MP's would have to pay on their 2nd and 3rd houses. Property taxes, no MP wants them because they're all landlords, it would benefit literally everyone else.

Proud to say that even before I knew they were a Church I never gave money to them, it just never occured to me to do it, and now I know what they are I'm definitely not giving them my money. Use Oxfam, use Cancer Research UK, use any secular charity shop. Don't use these cults.

I'm sure the sets got more technically cool as time went on but I just love the pilot era aesthetic of Ninjago. Dojos, blacksmiths, dragons. Only the skeletons had modern-style veichles and they were kind of makeshift. I guess I'm a sucker for a more historical fantasy setting.

I fucking loved lego as a kid. Unfortunately, into my tweens I stopped keeping good care of my sets and a bunch of figures and little connecting pieces I know are lost and many more are probably missing. The boxes I keep the pieces in are all jumbled with no regard to theme, colour or size.

Pretty much every health concern I heard about fructose were indistinguishable from health concerns about any kind of sugar.

It’s truly tragic how many of these US war criminals like Cheney never face justice and die in their peacefully in their homes in their 80s and 90s. I want to be happy he is dead but I am not. The million people he killed didnt get the luxury to die how he did.
