Today I played my first ever game of Warhammer Fantasy The Old World, and my Tomb Kings defeated some upstart Chaos Warriors in honourable battle on the open field. Eternal rule to Queen Hapshetsida!

Children Of A Dead Earth, which is impossible to play if you don’t understand orbital mechanics, delta-V, and similar concepts. Bills itself as the most scientifically accurate space combat game.

I finished a STK-3H in Lyran Guards colours yesterday - my first mini in my new home. Eventually when I get transfers this will be from the “Saucy Sixth” 6th Lyran Guards.

Cats were UNHAPPY about the drive. Much sad meowing and screaming. Over now and they are very grumpy. Poor babies. It’s hard when you’re small and scared and blind. Hopefully they’ll settle in quickly.

They've hit the field a few times over the years; notable moments include being mulched by Vlad and Isabella Von Carstein in about 1996 and the miners seeing off a giant last year!
The White Dwarf, Grombrindal, himself! This is a metal mini given away for free with the French WD #200. He has a helmet full of ale in his right hand and a big axe in his left, resting on his shoulder. He has an angry expression and a massive white beard and huge handlebar moustache. A unit of 10 Warhammer multi-part plastic Dwarf warriors with crossbows. These are 6th edition models dating to the early 2000s. They are painted in a variety of colours with steel helmets and chainmail. Their champion is pointing towards the enemy and smoking a pipe. A unit of 10 monopose plastic Dwarf miners from the Battle for Skull Pass set. They wear red gloves and carry large pickaxes. Their steel helmets have candles on them to light their way in the tunnels. A block of 20 Dwarf Warriors made with a mix of monopose plastics from the Battle for Skull Pass set and a single metal Wargames Foundry Dwarf hiding in the middle of the second rank. They have steel helmets, chainmail, and red shields, and carry axes (and the odd hammer).
