People who appreciate and support religion because they see it as an organizing principle or “power structure” are more pernicious than people who reject it outright. If Christianity is not about the crucified and resurrected Lord and His commandments to us then it‘s dead and deserves to be.

People are making their jokes but this is white Christian culture writ large. Women, girls alike are raised to understand that men goes after young girls because its their sex that makes them virtuous and their pursuit is just a natural thing that happens. Boys will be boys, men will be men etc.
