Yeah, my first thought when I saw the headline was "Oh, they realized they accidentally put their money in a successful company and needed to move their money to something stupid to maintain their 'only bad moves' investment portfolio."

Our local public broadcasting station showed it for a while, in the Saturday night British television block of programming.
(I realize it is not British, but for a while it was sandwiched between Are You Being Served? and Keeping Up Appearances).

I'm sure the moment he says it in the film is cathartic, so don't show it. Fade to black on "It's clobberin' time!" Show logo. Big cheer. Now I want to go and see the clobberin' time. Instead, I'm wondering if they're going to recycle the "Avengers Assemble!" joke and make me wait multiple films.

Also, I loved that it felt like reading (good) Continuity Comics. Other heroes just show up because they're around and why wouldn't they? And stray dialogue gives you the equivalent of a text box with the minimal info you need to know who this is to understand the plot and keep moving.

Perhaps I am giving the cartoonist too much credit! But the goofball expression on Poe in the last panel and the absurdity of proposing that The Raven is about Poe's pro-raven position make me suspect that the comic is satirical.

But that doesn't come up in every story! You could teach The River without any problems, and A Good Man is Hard to Find has some non-N-Word demeaning references to a black child, but the character doing it is not flatteringly depicted!
