I did a faceplant on a sidewalk this week. Nope, no photos of the gorry details. It was traumatic, for certain, but the kindness of a stranger (Thanks Freddy!) and the empathy and care from both the PA who sewed me up and my dentist, make me feel fortunate to experience the good side of humanity.

My parents #downsized to this condo in 1994. Today, I locked up for the last time. Memories of this home are more impersonal because I didn't live here. Except memories of this view are when I remember of my Dad's final days. Closing another #chapter. #condo #sellingthefamilyhome #Milford #NH

We've been cleaning and organizing my mom's condo for sale next spring. What keeps us going? Discovering #photo gems like this one. My maternal #grandfather, Palmer Chester Flournoy (on the left), who worked in stockyards and eventually managed one. Taken in 1953 in #Buffalo #NewYork.

I, a boy-mom of a grown man who never had to worry about such things when parenting, did my granddaughters hair for her school concert since Mama was away. Not too shabby.
Also note to the fam: stop making fun of me b/c I always show up early for such things. Nailed a front row seat.
