If the scene that the FAQ describes is indeed the one that caused the issue, then I’m a little surprised that Danganronpa Ultra Despair Girls is up. The stuff with Kotoko seems like a much clearer breach of this policy than the Horses scene does.

when people say friendslop they mean the game de-emphasises itself to facilitate better functioning as social space. which ironically usually means having way less slop (progression systems and live service bullshit)

i’ve watched a couple people play it now and i like. don’t understand how it saw any success. game designed from top to bottom to range from boring to infuriating

i’m not “insistent with being able to message minors,” i just thought that was a bad comparison. i mean, have you never been in a waiting room? a school office? a public park? sometimes you encounter kids in the world, and it’s a bit silly to act like you have to pretend they’re not there.

i mean, if a random kid and i were the only ones in an empty room… i would be perfectly willing to talk to them? like there are boundaries sure, but i’d be fine with saying something like “hi, how’s it going?”

oh, to be clear, i’m not saying people should use it, or even that dorsey or anyone else involved actually gives a shit about opposing ai. i just think the motivations for styling it as such are a lot simpler than people give it credit for.
