This, this, this, 100 times over! These things are the most basic, inclusive, anticipatory steps you can take - for all students. They should be common. The fact that we still have to list them individually on individual student support summary sheets tells you much about how inaccessible HE is.
*e.g. enabling ppt captions, using a mic in lecture theatre, providing handouts on different colours of paper, putting slides online 48 hours before session, not cold-calling students during group discussion, providing ways to demonstrate participation/engagement that aren't speaking up in class...
