I met this girl in 2005 in a little orphanage in Ivanovo, Russia. I had no idea that I would be going back to that orphanage, let alone some friends would end up adopting her…and today she is getting married! Congratulations Tatyana. Life has not always been easy, but you have never given up!

Today I cried all the way home from seeing a “client” I’ve known for sometime…Grandma Josefina, here from Guatemala, w/ her 4 grandsons. She’s scared, the boys are scared. Still figuring out how I can help her. I feel so limited, and it all feels so daunting.
