I don’t often lean into my photography degree these days, but as soon as I got these handwriting prints, I wanted to capture some shots like this, using lighting and a shallow depth of field to add to the atmosphere of the images.

Also love the way the randomly generated title for this one references “the eclipse” - which matches the visual so well.

I got some test prints on a few different papers!
In the first image, the top left is Hahnemühle Pearl, bottom left is Canson Baryta Gloss and the right is Hahnemühle German Etching (matte).
Matte is the winner for me as the colours are popping!
