Another dumb story for today: my youngest son was born in 1998. We didn’t have a name picked out and when asked our then 5 year old said we should name him “Alex Rodriguez.” We went with Alex. When Alex was in middle school he told us, “I wish my name was Derek.”🤣

Just had this photo of my daughter pop up from 11 years ago today. The Mariners won that day and their playoff hopes depended on other teams. So nice to have been in the driver seat this year. 😍 I don’t have a photo, but we went to the game with this same girl, now 24 years old, last night. 😍

Yes. This is the nightmare that is happening here. 😭 She’s just sleeping soundly next to my desk while I work through the exhaustion. Shes small, but don’t think that doesn’t mean I don’t have a large rug that is probably not salvageable.
