I just got all pissy with someone posting a fake AI flower on Bluesky and calling it a dahlia. Real flowers are so beautiful and magical and mysterious… we don’t need AI slop making us think reality doesn’t measure up.

I mean, we must have, right? I admit I should have read more carefully before I checked the “getting all my joints replaced” box, for sure.

Glad it’s better than it was, but it sucks to suffer with no real answers for so long.

Unfortunately, there are so many fake AI flowers being posted on social media. A friend of mine in the horticulture industry says garden centers are being flooded with people showing the staff AI photos and demanding these nonexistent plants.

That is 100% not a dahlia. It’s AI slop. Real flowers are beautiful and magical enough… why post crappy AI fake ones?
