To be fair, if you had an eye for talent and were also incredibly insecure and/or vain, you certainly wouldn't want to select one to be your number two
(Though I personally think it's less he has an eye for talent in a generalizable sense and more that he's just a starfucker)

That said I have more complicated thoughts on this that I don't feel like taking the time to explicate in a thread atm. Needless to say this isn't a one-way street, as the recent rise of the xenophobic right is basically copy-pasted from "the West" even though our demographics are nothing alike
